About

Dump Station Map helps RV travelers find places to empty their holding tanks and places to camp. It is a directory built from open data, not from reviews or other websites.

How it is built

• Listings come from open sources, starting with OpenStreetMap. See data sources for each source and its license.
• We do not copy listings from other directories, review sites or map services.
• We show a detail such as a fee, opening hours or potable water only when a source records it. We do not guess.
• Each listing shows where its information came from and the date of the data snapshot.

Corrections

The listings come from OpenStreetMap, which anyone can edit. Each listing links to its OpenStreetMap entry, so a fix made there reaches this site and every other app that uses OpenStreetMap.

Status

This is an early version of the site. It lists RV dump stations from OpenStreetMap by state and city. Campgrounds, search and a map come later.
